Dell Adamo XPS 13: Das dünnste Notebook der Welt

Nach einem Bericht des News-Portals Golem, bringt Dell „zum zweiten Mal in Folge das dünnste Notebook der Welt” auf den Markt. Das Notebook Dell Adamo XPS 13 ist 9,7 bis 10,3 Millimeter flach und wiegt 1,44 kg. Ähnlich wie bei den sogenannten All-in-One-PCs hat Dell die Hardware in dem Teil untergebracht, der das Display beherbergt. Dadurch konnte die Tastatur besonders flach gehalten werden.
Das Herzstück besteht aus dem Prozessor Core 2 Duo SU9400 mit 1,4 GHz Taktfrequenz. Der Arbeitsspeicher besteht aus 4 GByte DDR3-800-DRAM. Dell hat das Betriebssystem Windows 7 Home Premium installiert. Das LED-Display ist 13,4 Zoll groß. Eine 2-Megapixel-Webkamera und ein Mono-Mikrofon wurden fest im Gehäuse verbaut. WLAN und Bluetooth-Technologie sind vorhanden.
Laut Golem soll das Notebook ab sofort für 1699 Euro erhältlich sein.
